We would like to invite you to watch our new series “Generations of Art from Płock”, which we are implementing thanks to the funding of the Self-Government of the Mazovian Voivodeship!
It is said that Płock is a city of photographers. Since the 1960s, the Płock Photographic Society has been operating here, many photographers from our city or currently living here participated in exhibitions, won awards in competitions, published in catalogs and media, and above all – created quality art works! This is why the first episode of the series is devoted to the art of photography. We invited Halina Płuciennik, the author of countless works known to residents of Płock from publications and exhibitions, a true legend of local photography. We also had a pleasure of talking to Wiktor Dąbkowski, a photojournalist from Płock, author of the blog PodRÓŻNY, who currently resides in China, and his photos, distributed by several international agencies, can be found in the media around the world.
The film is available with Polish and English subtitles.
Special thanks to the Art Gallery of Płock for providing archival materials!
The second episode of the series we devoted to an extraordinary artistic family. We invite you to a meeting with Zofia Samusik-Zaremba and Szymon Zaremba, who not only talk about their own creative and professional work, but also recall Tadeusz Zaremba (1940-2013) – a long-time director of the Mazovian Museum in Płock, a respected painter and conservator of monuments.
Special thanks to both artists and the Art Gallery of Płock for presenting us with the archival materials!
The film is available with Polish and English subtitles.
The third episode of the series is devoted to music. The guests of the episode, discussing their artistic paths, are Hanna Witt-Paszta – pianist and educator, tutor of generations of Płock musicians, long-term director of the Płock Chamber Orchestra, later Symphonic Orchestra, as well as Paweł Bartnik, co-creator of the projects kIRk, Sarmacja or Msza Święta w Altonie, remixer, mix and mastering engineer in Heavyweight.pro studio.
The film is available with Polish and English subtitles.
The project is co-financed
